Community & Environment Commission

The Community and Environment Commission meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Cotati City Hall. The Community and Environment Commission acts as an advisory board to the City Council in the areas of recommendations of public recreation, community pride and volunteerism, production of cultural and community events and programs, and forms ad hoc committees regarding environmental issues. Seven members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to ratification by the City Council, for two year overlapping terms. Six members are required to be residents of Cotati, while one member may reside in the sphere of influence area as shown on the general plan land use map.
